Lauren Tewes – 66 Years
The Love Boat is one of the most successful TV series on the ABC Network’s catalog, running for ten years and including three extended episodes. Lauren Tewes was one of the key performers on the show, playing cruise director Julie McCoy.
She played the role for seven years before being replaced due to her cocaine addiction that caused massive weight gain and performance issues. She made another guest appearance in 1985. These days she splits her time between acting and being a sous chef for a Seattle catering company. In 2020 Tewes started playing Maxine Murdoch in the Imagination Theatre comedy-mystery radio series Murder and the Murdochs.
