Tippi Hedren – 90 years old
Tippi Hedren’s route to becoming one of Hollywood’s leading ladies went via Alfred Hitchcock’s acclaimed films The Birds and Marnie. She won a Golden Globe for her role in The Birds and has a Jules Verne Award and a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame to go with it.
She also had a role in Charlie Chaplin’s final film called A Countess From Hong Kong. Eventually, she turned to animal right s activism, starting her own NPO called the Roar Foundation, after discovering the plight of lions while shooting the film Roar.
