Alex Cord – 87 Years
Alex Cord is most famous for his role as Archangel in the cult classic TV show Airwolf, but if it weren’t for his dedicated parents, he wouldn’t have had a Holywood career at all. Cord suffered from polio, which affected his spinal cord and left him partially paralyzed.
But his parent followed a doctor’s advice and got him to ride horses. The therapeutic exercise helped him recover entirely by the age of 16. Besides Airwolf, he also had small parts in Walker Texas Ranger, Murder She Wrote, and Jake And The Fat Man. Cord has retired, and currently raises horses in Texas.
