Known for his flamboyant personality and high energy workout videos, Richards Simmons is also the man who made Eddie Murphy’s Nutty Professor say, “Yes I can.” He also played himself on the soap opera General Hospital and later on campaigned for non-competitive physical education in schools.
He also made appearances in TV series like Arrested Development and Whose Line Is It Anyway and frequently featured on late night shows like The Late Show with David Letterman and The Howard Stern Show. Although he took a back seat for a bit, he surfaced on YouTube during the Covid-19 lockdown with some videos to help people stay fit during the quarantine.
