Max Baer Jr. – 82 Years Old
As an actor, Max Baer is best remembered for his role as the well-meaning Jethro Bodine in the series The Beverly Hillbillies. He was a key part of the show, acting in it for the entire nine-season run, before making a name for himself as an astute film businessman.
Baer moved behind the camera, making two highly successful films. He wrote and produced the 1974 film Macon County Line, which made $25 million at the box office on a budget of $110, 000. He then directed Ode To Billy Joel in 1976, which made $29.65 million off a budget of $1.1 million. He will play himself in the upcoming The Harlem Harlequin: Slapsie Maxie Rosenbloom.
