Jerry Lee Lewis – 84 years old
“Goodness gracious, great balls of fire” is probably one of the most iconic lyrics in rock ‘n roll history, and we can thank the legendary Jerry Lee Lewis for giving it to us. Lewis also gave us hits like Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On, Breathless, and High School Confidential.
These hits have earned him induction into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and a lifetime achievement Grammy Award. His All Killer, No Filler: The Anthology box set was included in the Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time. In 2019 Lewis suffered a stroke but recovered and only had to miss a few appearances.
