Gene Hackman – 90 years old
Some of Gene Hackman’s talent probably came from him studying Journalism and television production at the University Of Illinois. But despite his training and talent, he and his friend Dustin Hoffman were both dubbed the least likely to succeed of the Pasadena Playhouse.
Hackman proved them all wrong and became a Hollywood heavyweight, winning two Oscars, four Golden Globe Awards, and two Bafta awards. He earned these awards while starring in classics and blockbusters like Bonnie and Clyde, The French Connection, and the western Unforgiven. He is also famous for playing Superman’s arch-nemesis Lex Luthor in the Superman Movie series.
