Dick Van Dyke – 94 Years Old
Dick Van Dyk enlisted in the US Airforce to become a pilot. But he was denied because he was underweight. Then the army decided to enroll him as a radio announcer during WWII, and a star was born.
He took these skills into mainstream radio before moving into Broadway and later TV, where Van Dyk had roles in several sitcoms. Eventually, he earned the lead role in the self-titled The Dick Van Dyk Show, which won Van Dyk three Daytime Emmy’s. The show itself won four for Outstanding Comedy Series. Van Dyk is still active and had a role in the 2020 film Capture The Flag.
